The JC series alcohol precipitation tank (also known as alcohol precipitation tank) is a core stainless steel equipment used in the pharmaceutical, food, and health product industries for alcohol precipitation (alcohol precipitation) processes. It is mainly used for impurity removal, purification, and solid-liquid separation of traditional Chinese medicine extracts.
1、 Basic definition and purpose
Alcohol precipitation (alcohol precipitation): Ethanol is added to the concentrated solution of traditional Chinese medicine decoction, and the solubility differences of different components in ethanol are utilized to precipitate impurities such as starch, protein, pectin, and tannins, while retaining effective ingredients (alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, etc.), improving the purity, clarity, and stability of the medicine.

Jacket: The outer jacket can be filled with cooling water/frozen salt water, achieving low temperature control and alcohol precipitation (0~15 ℃)
Mixing: Three blade paddle mixing, slow speed (about 25-45r/min), gentle mixing to prevent component damage
Liquid outlet system: floating ball/rotating fine adjustment liquid outlet tube, layered extraction of supernatant to avoid stirring up sediment
Attachment: Explosion proof motor, mechanical seal, sight glass, pressure gauge, CIP cleaning ball, temperature sensor

3、 Working principle (alcohol precipitation process)
Feed: Add concentrated traditional Chinese medicine solution
Alcohol addition: Slowly add ethanol, stir and mix to the specified concentration (60%~85%)
Cooling settlement: The jacket is filled with chilled water and left to stand at low temperature for 6-24 hours to allow impurities to settle completely
Separation: The supernatant is extracted from the upper outlet tube; Bottom cone bottom discharge sediment
Recycling: The supernatant is then concentrated to recover ethanol, and the precipitate is treated as waste residue

Ordinary sedimentation tank: no temperature control, no explosion-proof, only natural settling at room temperature
