Brief Introduction to Centrifugal Scraper Thin Film Evaporator

Centrifugal scraper thin film evaporator is an efficient, continuous, low-temperature, short-range evaporation and concentration equipment. By rotating the scraper, the material is forced to form a uniform and high-speed liquid film on the inner wall of the heating cylinder, and quickly evaporates under vacuum conditions. It is particularly suitable for processing heat sensitive, high viscosity, foaming, scaling, and crystallization materials.
1、 Working principle
The material enters from the upper part of the equipment and is scraped into an extremely thin and constantly updating turbulent liquid film along the heating surface under the action of centrifugal force and rotating scraper;
The heating medium provides heat through a jacket, and the material rapidly vaporizes in a vacuum, low temperature, and extremely short residence time;
The secondary steam is discharged through the separation chamber, and the concentrated liquid is continuously discharged from the bottom, achieving continuous evaporation and discharge.
2、 Core Features
1. High heat transfer efficiency
The liquid film is extremely thin, with strong turbulence, and the total heat transfer coefficient is much higher than that of conventional evaporators.
Not easy to scale, not easy to hang on walls, and stable in long-term operation.
2. The heating time of the material is relatively short
The residence time is only a few seconds to a dozen seconds, significantly reducing the risk of thermal sensitive materials decomposing, discoloring, polymerizing, and coking.
Especially suitable for materials such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and natural extracts.
3. Can handle high viscosity materials
The scraper is forced to form a film, which can still stably evaporate high viscosity, paste like, and viscous materials.
