What is the function of MVR evaporator

MVR evaporator is the core equipment for treating high salt and high concentration wastewater and material concentration in the industrial sector. Its core function is to achieve good thermal efficiency and energy saving by recovering the latent heat of secondary steam.
1、 Core Function and Principle
1. Energy conservation and consumption reduction (core value)
Principle: Use a fan or compressor to compress the secondary steam (low temperature and low pressure) generated by evaporation, increasing its temperature and pressure, and increasing its calorific value.
Effect: The compressed high-temperature and high-pressure steam is reintroduced into the heating chamber and reused as a heating source.
Comparison: Compared with traditional multi effect evaporators, MVR only requires a small amount of electrical energy to drive the compressor, reducing energy consumption by 80% to 90%. It is an extremely energy-saving evaporation technology.
2. Low temperature evaporation to protect materials
The system usually operates under negative pressure and has a low evaporation temperature (usually between 60 ℃ and 90 ℃).
Advantages: It is particularly suitable for handling heat sensitive materials such as food, medicine, biologics, etc., avoiding the denaturation or failure of active ingredients at high temperatures.
3. Treatment of high salt/high concentration wastewater
It can deeply concentrate wastewater with high salt content (such as hundreds of thousands of ppm) to achieve water salt separation.
Application: Waste leachate, chemical wastewater, electroplating wastewater, food processing wastewater, etc., to achieve the goal of reduction, standard discharge, or resource recovery.

Chemical industry: inorganic salt concentration (such as sodium chloride, sodium sulfate, ammonium chloride), chemical product concentration.
Food industry: juice concentration, tomato sauce, dairy products, monosodium glutamate, and beer lees recycling.
