1、 Alcohol water azeotropic system (SHPD has great advantages)
      1. Ethanol water: Ethanol dehydration, alcohol purification, bioethanol distillation (SHPD application)
      2. Isopropanol water: IPA dehydration, pharmaceutical/electronic solvent recovery, can significantly reduce compressor load compared to ordinary HPD
      3. Azeotropic separation of n-propanol water, tert butanol water, and other low-carbon alcohol aqueous solutions
Characteristics: There is a common boiling point and a large temperature difference throughout the tower; Direct HPD compression ratio is too high and uneconomical. SHPD separates the feed and temperature range, which can be achieved using a single-stage compressor
2、 Common organic solvents/solvent recovery systems (HPD as the main solvent, SHPD can also be used)
      Methanol, methanol water system
Acetone, ethyl acetate, acetonitrile, tetrahydrofuran (THF), dichloromethane, toluene, xylene
DMF、DMSO、 Dimethyl carbonate DMC (lithium battery electrolyte solvent recovery)
Purification of acetic acid water and acetic acid aqueous solution
3、 Multi component light hydrocarbon/aromatic separation (HPD)
Benzene/toluene/xylene, separation of low-carbon alkanes and light gasoline components, suitable for systems with component boiling points close and small temperature differences.
4、 Other aqueous solutions, stripping and regeneration types
      1. Ammonia water deamination and distillation of ammonia containing wastewater
      2. Amine liquid regeneration (MDEA/MEA solution, removal of CO ₂, H ₂ S acidic gases)
      3. Dilute acid concentration and solvent recovery from partially saline organic wastewater
Brief differentiation of selection
      1. HPD conventional heat pump distillation: It is preferred for systems with small temperature differences between the top and bottom of the tower (generally ≤ 30 ℃) and no strong azeotropes, with low investment; When the temperature difference is large, the power consumption of the compressor increases sharply.
      2. SHPD split heat pump distillation: specifically used for systems with azeotropic and large temperature differences throughout the tower (ethanol water, isopropanol water). By splitting the total temperature difference into two sections through a double tower, the compression ratio is greatly reduced and power consumption is reduced. It is a heat pump solution for azeotropic alcohol water systems.
