1、 Basic Definition
The WZII dual effect energy-saving external circulation vacuum concentrator belongs to the natural circulation vacuum evaporation equipment. It adopts a dual effect heat exchange+external tube heater+negative pressure evaporation structure, relying on two evaporation to fully recover the waste heat of secondary steam. It is a mainstream low-temperature concentration equipment in the pharmaceutical and food industries, suitable for concentration of aqueous solutions and dilute liquids, and can recover organic solvents such as ethanol.
2、 Equipment composition
One effect heater, one effect evaporation separation chamber, two effect heater, two effect evaporation separation chamber, condenser, condensate receiving tank, vacuum system, circulation pipeline, sight glass, spray cleaning interface. The materials in contact are mostly SUS304/SUS316L stainless steel, which meets GMP food and pharmaceutical standards.
3、 Working principle
1. Basic conditions for vacuum low temperature
The entire system maintains negative pressure, reduces the boiling point of the material liquid, and has a first effect of about 75-82 ℃ and a second effect of about 55-65 ℃. The thermosensitive material will not deteriorate at high temperatures. By relying on vacuum to create a two effect pressure difference, heat cascade utilization can be achieved.
2. One effect evaporation (main heating section)
Fresh steam from the boiler is introduced into the shell side of the first effect heater to heat the liquid inside the heating tube; After boiling, the gas-liquid mixture is sprayed upwards into the first effect evaporation chamber; Vapor-liquid separation, where the liquid flows back to the heater through an external pipeline due to density differences, forming a natural external circulation and continuously evaporating water.
The water vapor generated by the first effect is called secondary steam, which does not condense directly and is transported to the second effect heater as a heat source.
3. Second effect evaporation (waste heat utilization section, energy-saving core)
The primary and secondary steam enters the shell side of the secondary heater, heating the secondary feed liquid; The secondary steam generated by the second effect evaporation enters the condenser, and the cooling water condenses into waste liquid and is discharged.
The dilute solution is initially concentrated in the first effect and then further concentrated in the second effect to achieve the required concentration for the process before being discharged.
4. Characteristics of external circulation
The heater is independent and external, and the circulating flow rate of feed liquid is high, which is not easy to form walls and foam runs away; Circulation relies on the natural drive of thermal density difference, without the need for a circulation pump, resulting in lower energy consumption.
4、 Core advantages
Significant energy saving: The reuse of secondary steam waste heat reduces steam consumption by about 50% compared to single effect concentrators, significantly reducing boiler energy consumption;
