What industries are MVR evaporators used in

MVR relies on mechanical compression for secondary steam cycle heat exchange, with almost no need for steam generation, low-temperature evaporation, and energy saving. It has two major models: membrane separation MVR (thermosensitive material concentration) and forced circulation MVR (high salt crystallization, easily scaling waste liquid), covering ten core industries:
1、 Food and beverage industry (mainly based on film reducing MVR, low temperature flavor preservation)
Core: Low temperature concentration of fruit juice, dairy products, sugar solution, and seasonings, vacuum evaporation at 45-70 ℃ to avoid high temperature damage to nutrition and aroma
Fruit and vegetable processing: concentrated orange juice, apple juice, tomato paste, blueberry juice;
Dairy products: fresh milk concentrate, whey concentrate, pre processed milk powder concentrate;
Starch sugar/sweetener: fructose syrup, glucose, malt syrup, honey concentrate;
Seasoning: MSG mother liquor, soy sauce, vinegar, yeast concentrate;
Biological fermentation: pre concentration of glutamic acid, lysine, and yeast culture medium.
2、 Pharmaceutical/Traditional Chinese Medicine Biotechnology Industry (GMP Clean MVR)
Suitable for thermosensitive drug solutions and organic solvent recovery, low temperature does not damage drug efficacy
Traditional Chinese medicine processing: concentration of herbal medicine extract and alcohol extract;
Chemical pharmaceuticals: concentration of antibiotic fermentation broth, vitamins, and amino acid solutions;
Solvent recovery: Distillation recovery of ethanol, methanol, acetone, DMF;
Pharmaceutical wastewater: Concentrate and crystallize high salt pharmaceutical mother liquor to reduce hazardous waste.
3、 Chemical industry (forced circulation+crystallization system)
Used for salt crystallization, intermediate concentration, waste alkali/liquid treatment, solvent recovery
Inorganic chemical industry: concentrated crystallization of chlor alkali brine, sodium sulfate, ammonium sulfate, potassium nitrate, and sodium chlorite;
Organic/chemical: dye, pigment, surfactant, pesticide intermediate concentration;
New material additives: electrolyte, electroplating additives, water treatment agent concentration;
Reduce and separate salt from waste alkali solution, high salt mother liquor, and distillation residue.
4、 New energy lithium battery industry (high-value metal recycling)
Zero emission equipment for the production of ternary precursors and lithium iron phosphate
Lithium battery production wastewater: evaporation of mother liquor containing lithium sulfate, cobalt sulfate, nickel sulfate, and manganese salts;
Resource recovery: Concentrate and crystallize to extract lithium and cobalt salts, with a metal recovery rate of over 98%;
Positive electrode material cleaning wastewater, RO concentrated water desalination, and condensate water recycling production line.
5、 Environmentally friendly water treatment
Process waste liquid that cannot be biodegraded by biochemistry and contains 3% to 25% salt, concentrate and crystallize, and reuse clean water
Electricity: desulfurization wastewater and ash flushing water from power plants;
Electroplating/surface treatment: heavy metal salt wastewater containing nickel, chromium, and copper, heavy metal enrichment and recovery;
Coal chemical/coking: high salt organic wastewater, nanofiltration+MVR salt separation to produce industrial NaCl and Na ₂ SO ₄;
Printing and dyeing textiles: dyeing high salt wastewater, printing pulp waste liquid;
Garbage incineration/landfill: concentration and reduction of leachate from garbage;
Reverse osmosis RO concentrated water: The concentrated water at the end of the membrane system is further desalinated, significantly reducing external discharge.
6、 Metallurgical and mining industries
Nonferrous metal smelting: concentration of high salt wastewater and leaching mother liquor from copper, nickel, and cobalt ore beneficiation;
Rare earth processing: evaporation of rare earth extraction waste liquid to recover rare earth salts;
The high salt mine water underground is evaporated on-site to produce fresh water for circulation.
7、 Paper industry
Concentrate pulp black liquor and bleaching high salt wastewater;
Paper making RO concentrated water treatment, recycling clean water for reuse in the cleaning section.
8、 Desalination of seawater/brackish water
Small desalination units in island and coastal factory areas, with MVR evaporation to produce fresh water, suitable for steam free factory areas.
